Imagine receiving an email informing you that your child's nursery is closing – without prior parent consultation and with no clear transition plan. That's the reality for 60 children and 13 staff at Beech Hall Nursery in Macclesfield, including dedicated team members who have been there for 27 years. With many local nurseries full until 2026, families are facing significant challenges in finding alternatives, raising serious concerns about children's welfare. This isn't right, and we're calling for change.
